Sharon F. Wheaton

Sharon F. Wheaton, age 65, of Appleton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born to the late Donald and Germaine (Spreeman) Stoeger on November 17, 1957 in Appleton.
In Sharon's younger years she enjoyed ice skating, sewing, social gatherings and traveling. In recent years some of Sharon's favorite activities were taking scenic rides through the country, watching sporting events for her grandchildren, soaking up the sun and enjoying nature in her sunroom and watching some of her favorite game shows. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Dan; her children Andy (Jess) Wheaton and Jen (Jason) Mielke; her grandchildren: Maiya, Tyson, and Ian Wheaton and Addy and Quinn Mielke; her brothers: Keith (Shirley) Stoeger, Dave (Deke) Stoeger, Bill (Sue) Stoeger, Pat (Les) Stoeger, Rick (Sally) Stoeger, and Peter (Carina) Stoeger; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary (Dave) LaChapell and sister-in-law Jean(Mrs. David) Stoeger.
Following Sharon's wishes, a private family memorial service will be held.
