Sharon Marie Wolf July 11, 1948 - January 10, 2026
Sharon M. Wolf of O’Fallon, Missouri passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 77. Sharon was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri as the second child of William and Leatrice (nee Gillman) Carbrey Jr. Sharon grew up in the Walnut Grove and Wellston areas of St. Louis before the family moved to Kansas City, Missouri. After several years the family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio before moving back to Missouri and settling in St. Charles. Sharon was a 1966 graduate of Duchesne High School. After high school, Sharon served her country as an Air Force Medic serving four years at Wilford Hall in San Antonio, TX. After graduating nursing school, she spent 20 years of her career as an ER nurse both at St. Joseph in St. Charles and opening the ER at St. Joseph in Lake St. Louis. She retired as a disease case manager from Healthways. Sharon is survived by her children Christopher (Melissa) Gustafson, Laura Gustafson Rohne, and Melissa Wolf, grandchildren Jay (Amy), Alayna, Nolan, and Rylan and great grandchild Oliver. She is also survived by her siblings Nancy Kuberski, Richard (Mary) Carbrey, Steven (Rebecca) Carbrey, Theresa (Patrick) Mulhern, and Dale Carbrey. She is further survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, William and Leatrice, her grandparents, brother-in-law, Lawrence Kuberski, and all her aunts and uncles. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to organizations Sharon supported - FISH of St. Charles, Inc and St. Vincent De Paul Society. Services will be held at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in O’Fallon, MO on Saturday, January 31, 2026. The family will receive visitors from 9:30am to 10:30am with a funeral mass beginning at 10:30am.
