Shaun Patrick Iske was born on January 30th, 1970 in Denver, Colorado to Jim Beasley and Jean Tennant. Shaun loved anything that had wheels even as a young child. He would steal his Aunt Kristi’s ride-on Corvette to play on any chance he got and had gotten into motorcycles by high school. Throughout his childhood, he had a very special bond with his Grandpa Don and Grandma Joyce. Shaun graduated from Everly High School in 1988, his mom in 1973 and later his son, Skylar in 2015. Shaun and Debi welcomed their son in November of 1996 and later united in marriage in March 2003. Together they bought The Ranch for the first time in that same year.
The Ranch held a special place in Shaun's heart during his childhood. It was owned and operated by his grandparents for many years. He was proud to keep many of the original traditions and operations, while perfecting his own. Shaun's customers knew him for his Friday & Saturday Steak Nights, his witty sense of humor, and always having a bottle of Diet Mountain Dew in his hand! Shaun owned and operated both The Ranch and The QuikSpot in Everly, making many lifelong friends along the way. He also supported the city through his role on the City Council for many years- kindly known as "Mr. Everly" to many.
When he wasn't at the bar or the store, Shaun enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Iowa Hawkeyes. He loved taking a ride on the bike with Jenny, side-by-side adventures with friends, playing pool league on Thursday nights, and Darts on Sundays. Shaun had a love for classic cars and trucks, and was always buying and selling. He even permanently installed one at The Ranch. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and baseball. Shaun loved to stay busy!
