ISKE, Richard Charles. October 21, 2024. Age 95. Beloved husband of the late Susanne. Loving father of Mary Beth (Mark) Latowski, Michelle (Andy) Mannino, the late Julie and the late Cynthia. Proud and adored grandfather of Rory (Sondra), Eric (Jen), Brooke, Liza, Matt (Emily), Karley (Jared), Haley (Travis), Dan (Sam) and Andrew (Abbi). Cherished great-grandfather of 13 and great-great-grandfather of 1. Dear brother of Mary Polizzi, the late Joanne Paton and the late Barbara. Survived by many loving family members and friends.
Richard pitched for Denby High School and was awarded All State Player two years in a row. He married his high school sweetheart Susanne Clancy. Richard was drafted into the Army, where he continued to play baseball and entertained the officers in Germany. Richard became a journeyman electrician. He joined IBEW Local 58, where he was a proud union member for 70 years. He was a loving and devoted family man. Richard's faith and family were foremost in his life. We are forever grateful for the life he shared with us. We will carry his love in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held Friday from 3-8pm with a 7pm Scripture Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate will be Saturday from 11am until the time of the 11:30am Mass at St Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market St, Mt Clemens, MI 48043. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations preferred to the Alzheimer's Association. Please share memories with the family at their "On-Line Guestbook" at WujekCalcaterra.com.
