Shaunda M. Bacote

Shaunda M. Bacote, 38, beloved wife of Warren J. Watson, passed away suddenly on June 30, 2024.
She was born in Meriden, October 4, 1985, a daughter of Lynn Papotto and Michael Bacote.
Shaunda resided in Meriden most of her life and earned her G.E.D. through Francis T. Maloney High School. She later attended ultimate Medical Academy of Tampa, FL, and earned a Certificate in Medical Coding. She was currently employed with Travel Centers of America.
Shaunda enjoyed styling hair, music, cooking for family and friends, outings with her children, helping those in need and Pizza!
Her laugh was wholehearted and contagious. She loved hard,..was tough on the outside, but very fragile on the inside.
In addition to her husband Warren and her parents Lynn and Michael, she is survived by her daughters, Cameron Z. Perry and Kemani N. Watson; her son, Dior J. Watson; her brothers, Kennedy A. Johnson Jr. and his wife Conchetta, Michael Bacote Jr. of Beaumont, TX, and Sean Bacote of Beaumont, TX; her maternal grandfather, Sal Papotto; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members including her brothers, Leonard Bunch and his wife Jessica, Raleigh Parker, and Allen Charity and his wife Vanessa; and her sister, Justine Mastroianni. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Margaret E. Papotto; her paternal grandparents, Hazel Bacote and Leon Bacote Sr.; and her uncle, Guy E. Bacote.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 1 to 3pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 3pm. Interment will be private
