Shawn Gressman Obituary
Shawn lived life to the fullest, and one thing was certain- there was never a dull moment with him. He had a lifelong love for collecting sports cards and his treasured collection reflected his enthusiasm for the games. Shawn's faithful dog, Huli, was his constant companion, joining him wherever he went. He cherished fishing trips with his dad and brother, and concerts with his mom were among his happiest memories. Music was Shawn's heartbeat. His knowledge of songs, artists, and lyrics was unmatched; there wasn't a tune he couldn't sing along to word of word. His passion for music brought joy to him and everyone around him. Shawn loved gardening and planted a garden every year for his mom, creating beautiful harvests and memories together, reflecting their bond and love for nurturing life. Many weren't aware of how well-read he was. He loved discussing books and authors with his Auntie Vickie, an English teacher and librarian.
Shawn's spirit, humor and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, unforgettable memories, and a reminder to embrace life with passion.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Lisa Gressman, brother Marcus, nephew Aiden, stepmother Sandy Gressman, and life partner Aubrey McCrone Gressman.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 2-5pm at the Eagles Lodge, 50 South 1st Street, Tooele, Utah. All who knew and loved Shawn are welcome.
