Shawn was born Feb. 11, 1972, in Fort Worth to Edith Dean Hastings.
Survivors: Wife, Manuela Martinez; Children, Meranda Jo Hastings, Victoria Navarro, Alondra Lillian Hastings, Alejandro Martinez and Shawn Dale Hastings, Jr.; and 10 grandchildren.
