Shawn is survived by his children Shawna Nance, Michael Nance, Anthony Nance, Alyssa Nance, and Madison Nance; grandchildren Jacob, Lily, Emilia, Michael Jr., Flynn, and Ashton; mother Cynthia Harris; father Michael (Trish) Nance, brother Jeff Nance; also many other beloved family members and dear friends.
Shawn was preceded in death by his step-father James Harris and his brother Anthony Nance; grandparents Hallie and Frank Nance and Louise and Ed Brecht.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 12:00 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lapeer. Pastor Bruce Lawton will officiate. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Lapeer Eagles, 3565 Davison Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446.
