Shawna's life was a colorful tapestry, woven with her unique artistic talents and unyielding love for her family.
With an enchanting flair for creativity, Shawna could transform the simplest materials into extraordinary works of art. Her passion for crocheting was perhaps most visibly manifested in the breathtaking curtains she crafted, gracing her home from ceiling to floor. These tokens of her artistry served not only as functional pieces but also as cherished symbols of her affection for those around her.
Shawna's heart was boundless, and her legacy is most prominently reflected in her children—Jeffery Evans, Daniel Mounteer, Rebecca Barrera, and Shandee Mounteer—who thrive as testaments to her nurturing spirit. She was partnered in love for 47 years with her late husband, Ray Mounteer, whose memory lives on in the love they shared and the family they built together.
In addition to her beloved children, she is survived by her daughter-in-law Angie Evans, her future daughter-in-law Natasha, her son-in-law Brandon Barrera, and her future son-in-law Bailey. Shawna's family extended to include nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, all of whom took great delight in her embrace and her creative pursuits.
Her spirit will also be fondly remembered by her mother, Connie Dawes, her siblings—Carrie Harris, Creta Rodeback, and Chuck Konder—who shared in the joyous moments of her life.
Shawna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray Mounteer and her father Daniel Mace
The memory of Shawna M. Mounteer will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched.
