Shea (Rose) Smith Obituary
Shea Katrina Rose Smith, 65, of Oak Hill passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at her residence.
Born October 22, 1960 in Oak Hill she was the daughter of the late Harry Rose and Frances "Frankie: Jane Weeks Rose.
Shea worked as a groundkeeper landscaping and in her leisure she enjoyed gardening, working puzzles, listening to music, watching tv, and playing trivia. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family.
Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her brother, Patrick Rose; and companion, Melvin Taliferro.
Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving brother, Michael Rose (Caroline); step daughter, Kisha May; niece, Bramble Conner (John); nephew, Hunter Rose (Hayleigh); great nieces and nephews, Ian Conner, Kanynon Conner, and Joslin Conner; and sister in law, Crystal Rose.
Funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darrell Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Williamsburg Memorial Park in Williamsburg, VA.
Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Oak Hill.
