Sheila K. Borgstrom
Our loving sister, aunt and cousin, Sheila Kay Borgstrom, 72, passed away peacefully at Stonehenge of Ogden with her family surrounding her from natural causes on Monday, February 7, 2022.
She was born on January 22, 1950 in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of Boyd Carl and Melva Priscilla Jean Thomas Borgstrom.
Sheila attended Bear River High School. Sheila had been married but was later divorced.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many capacities including: Primary teacher, visiting teacher and supervisor, Relief Society 2nd counselor, secretary and compassionate service leader, ward mission and loved attending the temple.
Dr Robinson trained Sheila as a surgical technician and worked in the health care industry for many years.
Sheila enjoyed crocheting, ceramic, camping and making soup. Her favorite hobby of all was spending time and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She would like to thank her sister and brothers for allowing her the opportunity to be part of your families.
The family would like to thank Canyon View Hospice, Stonehenge of Ogden and Riverdale 4th Ward Members for their loving care they gave to Sheila.
Surviving are one sister and two brothers, Jeannie Hansen, Randy (LouAnn) Borgstrom; Kevin Borgstrom and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Mike Borgstrom, one brother-in-law, Douglas H. Hansen, one niece Kristianna Borgstrom and one great-great nephew, Zade Hansen.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 am at Riverdale 4th Ward Chapel, 5500 S 1175 W.
Viewings will be held at the Riverdale 4th Ward Relief Society Room on Thursday, Feb. 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and on Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 am
