Sheila Fay Allgood Brennan, born on September 9, 1946, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, to William Edward Allgood, Jr. and Eunice Fay Vigil Allgood Creel, passed from this earth with family by her side on February 27, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. Known for her warm heart, beautiful smile, big hugs and delicious homemade bread, Sheila dedicated her life to caring for her family and friends.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William Bruce Allgood.

She is survived by her loving siblings, brother Raymond Craig Allgood and sister-in-law Sandy Allgood, sister Gwendolyn Cynthia Allgood Gray and brother-in-law Monte Gray, and sister Imelda Allgood Ketchum and brother-in-law Samuel Ketchum, her devoted children: daughters, Sancha Kathleen Brennan and Erin Brennan Chambers, twin sons, Tyler Clark and Cameron Edward Brennan, son-in-law, Wayne Chambers, daughter-in-law, Vanessa Brennan, her six adoring grandchildren, Jacob and Brennan Whynot, Charlotte and Kellen Chambers and Annabelle and Diana Brennan and her many well loved cousins, nephews and nieces. Sheila's legacy will live on through their cherished memories, coveted recipes and the values she instilled in them and the resilience she modeled for them.

Sheila loved music and in her youth played the clarinet. She was a majorette at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she was a member of the renowned Dixie Darlings. She had an enduring welcoming spirit and cultivated life-long meaningful friendships through her interest in sewing, her work with the Florida Hospital and Florida Hospital Foundation and in her membership and leadership with the state and national Mothers of Twins Club organization.

As we gather to honor Sheila's life, we invite all who knew and loved her to join us in celebrating the joy she brought to our lives. Her kindness, tenacity, grace, laughter, and true Southern charm will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered.

A public viewing, allowing friends and extended family to pay their respects, will begin at 1:00 PM, on March 8, 2025, at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, followed at 3:00 PM by a funeral service celebrating Sheila's life. Sheila's final resting place will be with family at the Concord Baptist Church in Yazoo City, Mississippi.
