Sheila Ann Cantrell, age 68, passed away on August 29, 2025. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Norman S. Taylor and Rheda Mae Taylor, and her sister, Darlene Inez Taylor. She is survived by her devoted sister, Kathy Taylor Bentley (Wayne); cherished nieces, Taylor Conner (Jon) and Alana Bentley; beloved great-niece, Bentley Ann Conner; and dear friends, Debbie Bannister and Mary Beth Armstrong. Sheila's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends. Holidays were especially meaningful to her, filled with laughter, tradition, and love. She was a loyal and passionate Alabama football fan who never missed a chance to cheer on the Crimson Tide. Though she had hoped to attend one more game, her family finds comfort in knowing she will be cheering proudly from above. In addition to her love of Alabama football, Sheila had a talent for quilting and cross-stitching. She was an active member of a quilting club, where she shared her creativity and friendship. She also had a deep affection for animals, especially cats, and treasured the many pets who kept her company through the years. Sheila will be remembered for her kind heart, her devotion to family, and the joy she brought into the lives of those who loved her. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Huntsville Memorial Gardens. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter in Albertville, AL, in Sheila's honor.
