Sheila M. "Chippy" Jodoin, age 58, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 3, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She experienced a long battle with cancer. Her strength was extraordinary.
She was born March 20, 1966, in Gloversville, the daughter of William Jodoin and Betty Johnson. She was later employed as at Robison & Smith and worked with her sister, Sheri, for many years. She enjoyed walking and nature, coffee, watching a good movie and feeding the birds on her back deck, and mostly spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Chippy is survived by three children, Shelly Fisher, Shane Coppernoll and Shannon Coppernoll (Tyler); her father, William C. Jodoin; her mother, Betty Johnson; six grandchildren, Tyler Fisher, Caden Fisher, Emily Fisher, Lila Coppernoll, Ivory Coppernoll and Quinton Richer; a sister, Shelly Miller (Jeff); a brother, Gregory Johnson (Debbie); as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Sheri Humphrey.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, Gloversville.

I'm at a loss for words. So many memories of our youth. The one that keeps coming up is all the time's we waited for Grizzly Adam's to come on TV and watch it. Then we'd go on Wilson Hill and just hang out. My best friend all my life. Will miss you
