Sheila Jewel McKnight, a beloved matriarch, peacefully passed away on March 19, 2024, in her home in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on February 6, 1957, to Dorothy Lee Robertson and Forrest Wade Robinson. 
Sheila graduated from Trimble Tech High School and joined the workforce. On August 14, 1978, Sheila married Charles McKnight Sr., and was blessed with three sons Markeith Robinson, Charles McKnight Jr. and Jeramie Mcknight. 
Sheila worked at John Peter Smith Hospital in labor and delivery for 30 + years before she retired. Sheila lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to her family. Sheila was the epitome of strength and grace, navigating life's ups and downs with resilience and determination. She was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and shared his love with anyone Jesus’ love. 
Sheila’s legacy extended beyond her immediate family to her 10 cherished grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. She took great pleasure in showering them with affection and imparting her wisdom upon them, leaving an indelible mark on each of their lives. Sheila will be fondly remembered for her infectious laughter, her compassionate heart, her selfless spirit and her warm felt hugs. 
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Lee Robertson and Forrest Wade Robinson, and her husband Charles McKnight Sr. She leaves to mourn her passing, her sons, Markeith Robinson, Charles McKnight Jr. (Terri McKnight) and Jeramie McKnight; brothers, Tony Robertson and Forrest Robinson; sisters, Glenda Richardson and Anna Robinson; grandchildren, Markeith Robinson Jr., Sierra McKnight, Cortney McKnight; Jeremy McKnight, Jeremiah Johnson, Roshonda, Javonta Adams, Shanterica Robinson, Markeisha Robinson, Dewayne Robinson; 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 
Sheila's memory will forever be cherished by her sons, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she may be gone from our sight, her love will continue to guide us and bring us comfort in the days ahead.
