Sheila J. Monks

Sheila Monks, 77, of Ballston Spa, passed away peacefully at home on November 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 13, 1948, in Cobleskill, New York. Sheila was a deeply dedicated woman who cherished her family and her professional pursuits. She worked as a School Bus driver for Ballston Spa Central Schools.
A passionate member of the dog community, Sheila was the proud owner of Shield Crest Kennel. She was a respected figure, becoming an AKC judge for Juniors and having the honor of judging at the ASSA National.
Sheila was a very dedicated matriarch who loved her family dearly. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert; her son, Robert Michael Monks (Jackie); and her daughter, Charlene Staulters (Paul). Her legacy of love lives on through her six grandchildren Bobby, Joshua, Jeremiah, Samantha, Cody, and Dalton. She was also blessed with several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, November 13 from 4pm to 6pm at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa.
