Sheila K. Patrick passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, with her family by her side. Born on June 29, 1940, she lived a life full of love, adventure, and compassion, and leaves behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Born and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of the late Kathryn and John Cribben. Sheila was the cherished sister of the late Patricia Foley and the late John Cribben. She was a loving wife to the predeceased Richard Patrick, a devoted mother of Richard Patrick, Patricia Vissa, and Daniel Patrick, and a proud "Gramma" of Kayla Vissa, Andrew Patrick, Jillian Neuls, and Scott Patrick. Shea was an aunt to some, a big aunt to many, and a great big aunt to a lucky few. But to everyone, she was a friend-a true one. The kind of person who remembered every birthday, never missed a call, and made every gathering warmer just by being there.
As a woman of deep connection and rich tradition, Shea traveled to 49 of the 50 states, most with her loving husband at her side. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, the casino, and poker nights at the Roadhouse. Shea enjoyed her yearly vacation to Maine and had so much love for her Bear Spring Camps family. Her passion for family traditions, especially those shared with her sister and their family, was the glue that has held generations together. As a proud fan of all Boston sports, Shea cheered her teams on with heart and soul. "Sweet Caroline" was her anthem, and whenever it played, it brought light to her eyes and joy to those around her.
To anyone who knew her, Shea was simply the best person on earth-thoughtful, kind, giving, and full of grace. She had an unmatched ability to make people feel seen, valued, and loved. Her warmth was effortless, her laughter contagious, and her heart enormous.
Shea's passing leaves an immeasurable hole in the lives she touched, but her spirit-steady, joyful, and loving-will live on in every story shared, every family tradition kept, and every act of kindness done in her name.
She was, and always will be, the heart of her family and the friend of everyone.
"Good times never seemed so good "
