Sheila Jean Rother, age 57, a beloved mother and friend, passed away of natural causes at her home in Cannon Falls on October 26, 2025.
Sheila had a deep appreciation of nature and the serenity it would bring her. She was at peace listening to the loons singing in the distance, the simple beauty of searching for unique rocks along the shoreline, and the wild spirit of wolves that reflected her own strength and independence. Above all, her heart belonged to her son Jerry, whom she cherished beyond measure.
Sheila was a 1987 graduate of Randolph High School and spent most of her working years at Henkel in Cannon Falls (formerly Berquist Companies).
Sheila is survived by son Jerry (Chris) Regenscheid; parents Jack and Shelby Rother; siblings Sandy Rother, John (Brian) Olson-Rother, Tom (Dori) Rother, and Michele (Bill) Bergstrom; nieces and nephews and their families, Tonya (Nathan) Craig, Jeremy Grimes, Jesse Grimes, Brice Rother and Gage Bergstrom; along with many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her beloved cat, Pika.
In your quiet moments under the stars or along your favorite peaceful path, think of Sheila and her spirit will live on.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
