Cherryville - Mrs. Shelby Jean Randall Hudson, 68, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at her residence.
Shelby was born on August 3, 1956 in Cleveland County, NC a daughter of the late Charles Grady Randall and Helen Williams Schronce. She was formerly employed by Keystone Powdered Metal in Cherryville. Shelby loved going to the beach and the mountains and also enjoyed going to Las Vegas. She loved her family and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Venus Joyner.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Hudson of the home; two daughters, Amy Coon and husband Geoff of Lowell; Kelly Villanueva and husband Robbie of Cherryville; four grandchildren, Rana Hudson (Shane Owens), Tyler Sanders, MacKenzie Little (Zeke Wilson) and Kendall Little (Ricky Richard); four great grandchildren, Deshon Owens, Ari Owens, Axel Richard and Weston Wilson; a brother, Charles Buddy Shytle and two sisters, Cherry Stone and Charlotte Smith.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.
Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to Carolina Caring Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
