Shelda Zonn Evans, born on April 21, 1940, in Port Arthur, Texas, peacefully passed away on September 12, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana. Shelda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who brought warmth creativity to everyone around her.
Throughout her life, Shelda found joy in painting, expressing her emotions and thoughts through her artwork. Her talent and passion for this hobby were well known among her family and friends, which often served as an inspiration to those who knew her.
Shelda is survived by her devoted spouse, Frank Angelori, and her three wonderful daughters: Belinda E. Neff, Theresa N. Weinraub (David), and Robyn L. Ciuris (Anthony). She leaves behind a legacy of love with her grandchildren: Stephanie Ragas, Justin Irick, Ronald "Patch" Barber, Theodore "Theo" Oster, Tyson Irick, Lulu Aboshadi, Zizo Aboshadi, and Samia Aboshadi. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings, Michael Evans and Marilyn Evans Ermillio, who will cherish her memory fondly.
Shelda was preceded in death by her father, Sheldon C. Evans, and her mother, Ella Ruth Evans as well as her granddaughter Stephanie Ragas.
A burial will be held at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens 2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433.
Her family remembers her as a caring and artistic soul who touched the lives of many. She will be dearly missed.
