Barbara Ann Dill Babin, born in Houma, Louisiana on August 22, 1933, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2025 at the age of 92.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James J. Dill and Emma Dill, as well as her husband, Rudolph August Babin.

She leaves behind her children, Rudolph August Babin Jr. (Kim), Bobbie Babin, Dr. Barry J. Babin (Laurie), and Marty Babin (Madeline); grandchildren Joseph Babin, Christopher Conor Babin, Amie Ladd, James Babin, Cameron Babin and great grandchildren, Brandon Babin, Austin Babin, Chase Babin, and Ollie Ladd. She aslo leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara graduated from Terrebonne High School in 1952. She enjoyed and loved her little dog Lucy, travelling, cooking, and attending mass, and participating fully in the sacraments as well as visiting with her friends and family. She loved attending her children’s and grandchildren’s milestone events and reminiscing about her childhood in Houma with her brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave. in Baton Rouge, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. The burial will take place in the St Francis Cemetery No. 2.
