She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, David Giacalone; daughters, Melissa Close (William) and Cynthia Ruffner (Daniel); son, Paul Giacalone (Lisa); siblings, Sharon Wathen, J.R. Wathen (Linda), Rebecca Skeeters, Nancy Shackleford and Chester Wathen (Pam); two grandchildren, David and Hanna; two great grandchildren, Kaden and Hayden; and a host of family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery Central. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. until time of service.
