Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, Oct. 16, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Magnolia Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born May 27, 1950 in Kirbyville to Robert Sherrod Wright and Blanche (Adams) Wright, she was a lifelong resident of Kirbyville.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Nix of Kirbyville; son, Charles Robert Wilson of California; daughter, Shelly Lynn Wilson Neuman of Kirbyville; sister, Sharon Kay Wright Landrum and husband Larry of Call; 4 grandchildren, Taylor Sherrod, Reese, Katelyn, and Brandon; 2 great grandchildren, Liam and Waylon; niece, Brandie Nicole Williams; and nephews, John Henry Wirght, Christopher Michael Moore, and Richard Joseph Moore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Robert Darrell Wright.
