Shelly Bratcher Obituary
Born July 14, 1978, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Anita Hughes Bratcher and Thomas Olin Bratcher.
Shelly was a graduate of Belton-Honea Path High School, received her Biological Science Pre-Med degree from Clemson University and her Doctor of Pharmacy from MUSC. She was a pharmacist with Harris Teeter. In her earlier years, she loved playing in the band in high school and at Clemson University. She enjoyed beach vacations, being outside, and she especially loved her horses and dogs.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fur baby Goose.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene and Bobbie Hughes and R.O. and Kate Bratcher.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories in Belton with Pastor DeWayne Evans officiating.
Flowers are welcomed, or memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson County Humane Society, 407 Pearman Dairy Rd, Anderson, SC 29625.
