Shelly Kay (Griffith) Sparks, 56, of Boggstown passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at University Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born August 9, 1965, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Thomas and Sharon (Crafton) Griffith.
Shelly is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dallas Sparks, of Boggstown, her older sister, Tammy Griffith of Boggstown, sons, Jared Sparks and Nikolas Sparks, both of Boggstown, daughter Abigail Sparks of Boggstown, and aunts, Sandy, Dorothy and Libby.
She was preceded in death by both parents, twin sister, Kelley Griffith and brother, Craig Griffith.
Shelly graduated in 1983 from Triton Central High School, and received her Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in nursing both from Marion College. She worked in a NICU, caring for babies was her passion.
Shelly enjoyed going to auctions, where she collected and sold antiques. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, repurposing furniture, and spending time with her family.
Private family services will be observed.
Memorial contributions for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency research may be made to www.alpha1.org.
Interment will be at Fairland Cemetery in Fairland, IN.
