On August 7, 2025, Sheneetha Foster, 62, of Chicago, Illinois passed away surrounded by her loving children.
Sheneetha found joy in many things during her lifetime. She loved different types of dance, spent hours listening to her favorite dusties and old-school music, and enjoyed the excitement of boxing, basketball, and kung fu movies. She loved to put an outfit together and had a passion for home decor. She also had a fondness for solving crossword puzzles and savoring great-tasting food.
She leaves behind her beloved children: Rasheed Foster, Nathaniel Foster, Nadia Foster, Natavia Ballard, Lenard Ballard, Desire Strong, and Ranika Foster. She was a proud grandmother to Rasheed Foster, Raven Foster, Rasheeda Foster, Rayniece Foster, Rashad Foster, Diamond Foster, Nathaniel Foster, Zaire Foster, Jaden Foster, Khamyrah Foster, Calvin Brackins, Nalen Ballard, Landon Ballard, Logan Ballard, Marquell Payne, King Whiting, Prince Whiting, Caliyah Edwards, and Carlie Edwards. She is also survived by her father, David Foster, and her siblings Michele Prewitt, Lee Jones, and David Foster.
Sheneetha will be remembered as a woman who gave from the heart and loved unconditionally. Her lively personality was a gift, and she would often make new friends with kindness and laughter wherever she went.
While her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
