Sheridan L. "Sherri" Hall, age 61, was born in Erie on April 9, 1963. The Lord came to take her home on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Sherri lived her life for the Lord. She supported many ministries with her tithes. She loved to volunteer her time at local nursing homes, providing presents for patients so that they would enjoy the holidays. Going to the W.L.D. Ranch was an absolute favorite for her. Sherri spent summers there at camp with her sister, and it became a tradition to meet there for their annual dinners to fundraise for camp.
Sherri was most known for being a mother. She loved her four children more than anything else. Whether she was fundraising for the P.T.A. or volunteering at Head Start, her priority was always to make sure that they were cared for and loved. Spending summers away at Canadohta Lake, days at the beach, trips to the zoo, parks and Waldameer were some of her favorite things to do in the summer. Fall and winter were always filled with good dinners and late-night sled riding. Spring always brought a lot of cleaning, not only for her own home, but she always lent a hand to her neighbors as well. Sherri loved to see all the beauty of God's creations blooming back to life. A good, long car ride with windows down and the fresh country air could cure most of her worries. She enjoyed making sure she always made those around her feel seen and heard, no matter who they were. She especially loved her family and was only a call away. She certainly loved to "blab" and had a very special way of making you feel better, no matter what it was. Although, she often put herself last. Sherri truly appreciated the help of others when she was in need herself.
She will be greatly missed by her loving children, grandchildren and family. Sherri is survived by her four children, Alainea Hall Gutowski and her husband, Robert and their children, Aubrey Kuruc and Faryn Gutowski, Amber Hall Mikielski and her husband, Lucas and their children, Isaiah Mikielski, Aurora Mikielski, Lucas Mikielski, Jr. and Sephora Mikielski, her beloved and only son, Wilbur B. Hall, and Arille Hall Ogletree and her husband, Jason and their son, Jobe Ogletree; and their father, Sherri's ex-husband, Gregory I. Hall. Sherri was the eldest of five siblings who also survive, Colleen Brzinski, Jack Flickner, Sr., Rhett Flickner and Scarlett Kinnear; and was a loving Auntie to all her nieces and nephews. Although she will be missed dearly, she has now joined her parents, Jack Sr. and Karen Ramsey Flickner; and her grandparents, Wilbur M. and Helen F. Ramsey in the Kingdom of God. "So the last shall be fires, and the first last", Matthew 20:16.
Private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to Sherri's family through the funeral home.
