Mrs. Sherri Lee Lane Franklin, age 62, of 132 Phillips Road, Union, wife of Phillip Franklin, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Mrs. Franklin was born in Union County, September 8, 1963 the daughter of the late Harold Lane and Rebecca Williford Lane. Mrs. Franklin was a graduate of University of South Carolina-Union and worked as a school nurse. Mrs. Franklin was a member of Welcome Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Phillip Franklin, a son, Rev. Lee Franklin and wife, Heather of Spartanburg; daughters, Kacie Davis and husband Lee of Union and Courtney Robbins and husband Jacob of Union; grandchildren, Lucas Franklin, Sadie Franklin, Levi Davis, Rebekah Jane Davis, Lane Davis, Hampton Robbins, Myles Robbins, and Brady Robbins; brother, Dean Lane and wife Lisa of Fountain Inn; aunt, Lib Williford and cousins, Beth Diamaduros and husband Sammy and Sam Phillips and wife Nicole. She was predeceased by an aunt, Jane Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Welcome Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Lee Franklin and Rev. Robert Jarvis. Visitation will be held from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM prior to the services at the Church. Burial will follow the services at Hawkins Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Sam Phillips, Ayden Lancaster, Corbin Lancaster, Mitch Lane, Evan Rafferty and Jon Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Paul Lane, Tommy Lane, Scotty Lane and Kenny O'Shields.
The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Kacie and Lee Davis, 171 E. Forest Drive, Union, SC 29379.
