Sherri Ruth Loeffler

Sherri Ruth Loeffler (Minar) unexpectedly passed away at University of Texas Southwestern hospital in Dallas, TX on January 9, 2022. Sherri was born on July 28, 1968 in Farmington, MI and moved to Thief River Falls, MN with her mother and siblings. Sherri graduated from Lincoln High School in 1986 and began pursuing her higher education. Sherri became a mother in 1987 to Stephan Mark Allen Loeffler. In 1994 she married Bryan Joseph Loeffler in Las Vegas, NV. Sherri lived in Yuma, AZ, Montgomery, AL, Okinawa, Japan, Slidell, LA, and finally Grand Prairie, TX.
Sherri completed her Associates degree in Accounting at Northland Community College, her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Auburn University, and her Master's degree in Public Administration from Troy University.
Sherri worked for several years as a property accountant at multiple businesses in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. Sherri had several hobbies which included music, movies, reading, games with family, travelling, cared for multiple cats, bird watching, just to name a few. Sherri strongly believed in family first and cherished her time with family and friends.
Sherri is survived by her husband Bryan Loeffler, Grand Prairie, TX, her son Stephan Loeffler (Angela), Grand Prairie, TX, her mother Ethel Minar, Kettering, OH, her sister Shelley Connolly (Patrick), Kettering, OH, and her brother Mark Minar (Jackie), Thief River Falls, MN as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Mark Thomas Minar.
Funeral services will be a small family ceremony at a future date at her maternal family's cemetery near Beausejour, MB, Canada.
In lieu of flowers Sherri would appreciate any and all donations to either the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, nalmssociety.org or the American Cancer Society, cancer.org in honor of her father, mother, and sister.
