Sherriald J. "Junior" Surrena II, 57, of Jamestown, died Tuesday April 22, 2025, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
A native of Jamestown, he was born September 14, 1967, a son of the late Sherill and Evelyn McMurdy Surrena.
He was a 1985 graduate of Jamestown High School.
Junior was employed by Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant as a machinist. He earlier had owned and operated Rudy's Pizza.
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and driving his 1965 Ford F-100. He loved older vehicles and going to car shows. But even more than that he loved playing with his only grandson, Gino. He will be greatly missed at all of the activities that Gino is involved in.
Surviving is his wife Joanne Picardo Surrena, whom he married September 2, 1989; two sons Sherriald Surrena III and Zachary Surrena both of Jamestown; a grandson Gino Hultin; siblings Ruby (Ed) Holtz and Dan Surrena; half-sisters Cheryl and Kelly Surrena and half-brother Edward Surrena.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother David Surrena.
The funeral will be held at 6 pm Monday in the Lind Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 4-6 pm prior to the service.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
