Gerald L. "Jerry" Lewis, 54, of Lakewood, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie.

A lifelong area resident, he was born on Aug. 11, 1970, the son of the late Gerald L. and Beverly Caldwell Lewis, and was a graduate of Southwestern Central School.

Jerry worked as a forklift operator for Bush Industries. He belonged to the Chautauqua Lake Fish Club, Busti Trap Club, and was a man who enjoyed fishing, hunting and sports shooting. He also had a deep appreciation for classic cars.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Bower Lewis whom he married March 20, 2021; Jerry's son, Andrew J. Lewis; a stepson, Michael L. (Selena Foster) Miller and step-grandson, Michael L. "Mikey" Miller of Sheffield, PA; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 29th in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Dodi McIntyre, pastor of Joy Fellowship, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakewood's Bentley Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for two hours prior to the service Tuesday.

Jerry's family suggests memorials be made to Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield, NY 14787.
