Sherry Kay Jackson
March 27, 1958 – August 27, 2025

Sherry Kay Jackson, 67, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 27, 1958, in Elkhart to the late Raymond H. and Patricia A. (Brown) Sharp, Sherrie was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, caregiver, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mitchell Seal.

Sherrie dedicated much of her life to caring for others, working for many years as a CNA at Elkhart General Hospital. Her compassion extended beyond the workplace-she was a tireless volunteer, always willing to lend a hand. She loved creating through arts and crafts, painting, and knitting, and found peace and purpose in her faith as a member of Celebrate Recovery.

An avid animal lover, Sherrie had a special place in her heart for all creatures, great and small. Her gentle spirit and warm heart touched many lives.

Sherrie is survived by her beloved children: Jason Seal, Amber (David) Delgado, Brian (Laurie) Jackson, and Cameron Jackson; and her cherished grandchildren: Josefina, Evelyn, Charlotte, Theodore, Winnie, William, Ali, and Zariq. She is also survived by her sisters, Lori (Dave) Dunn-Seal and Tracey (Howie) Matthews, along with numerous other relatives and dear friends.

Private interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the humane society or animal shelter of your choice-an honor Sherrie would have deeply appreciated.

"And I ask you, my true partner, to help these two women, for they worked hard with me in telling others the Good News.

They worked along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are written in the Book of Life."
