Sherrill Lorraine Rigley

On April 8th, 2022, the heavens received another angel with the passing of Sherrill Rigley at the age of 73 of Redford Michigan. She will be welcomed into the arms of the Lord and into the arms of her parents, the late William and Carol Bollin. Sherrill grew up in Redford and Livonia where she graduated from Bentley High School. She spent many years of her career as an office manager for Western Electric Inc. and Total Sports Complex. Sherrill enjoyed all sports. She played tennis and bowled, including many 200 games and 500 series. Sherrill has also seen countless football, baseball, and basketball games over the years. Sherrill volunteered to be on the board of directors for North Redford Little League and Redford Rangers Football for 14 years, where she touched the hearts of many. She was also on the PTA board for many years.
Her greatest accomplishments were raising her sons Jeff(Alyssa), Matt(Mary), Chris(Leann) and being with and watching her grandchildren Brock, Owen, Mya, Malin, Marek and Cohen. Sherrill will be missed by many near and far, including her dear husband Larry, sister Jan, brothers Bill (Sharon), Ken (Barb), Tim (Ann), Chris (the late Kimberly) and many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her life long sisters not by blood but by the heart; Sharon and Pat.
Funeral visitation will be held on Monday, April 18th and Tuesday, April 19th, both from 2pm- 6pm at Charles Step Funeral Home, 18425 Beech Daly Rd., Redford Twp., MI 48240 (Between 6 and 7 mile roads). Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 20th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Loretto, 17116 Olympia, Redford Twp., MI 48240. Donations to the American Heart Association appreciated.
