Sherry Cabe Obituary
Sherry was a beloved mother to her daughters, Sherry Dawn Cabe, Christina Lowder (Jesse), Amanda Sawyer (Jared), and Heidi Adams (Clifton); grandchildren, Dallas, Kobe, Kasey, Jacob, Emily, Carmelo, and Edith; great grandchildren, JT and Krew; brother, Gary Huffman (Shirley).
Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Keith Cabe; parents, Ervin Huffman Jr. and Mary Louise Huffman; brother, Ervin Huffman III; sister, Lucky Huffman.
She was a cherished grandmother whose love for her grandkids knew no bounds. Family was everything to Sherry, and her nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
Beyond her family, Sherry had a passion for quilting. She was a member of a quilting club, where she shared her talents and created beautiful works that will be treasured by many. She had a knack for finding the perfect fabric and loved to shop, always on the lookout for the next great deal. Sherry also supported her late husband during his time on the fire department, volunteering her time and efforts for the community she loved.
To honor Sherry's vibrant life, a visitation will be held at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, beginning at 6:00pm ending at 8:00pm. A funeral service will follow on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., also at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, where we will gather to honor Sherry's life, her love, and her legacy. Following the service, Sherry will be laid to rest, rejoining her husband at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
As we prepare to say our goodbyes, let us keep her spirit alive by embracing the warmth and love she shared with us all. Rest in peace, Sherry. You will be missed dearly.
