Sherry LeMay Obituary
Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Glenn D. LeMay, of Columbus, Ohio; her fraternal grandmother, Dorothy Faiso, of Columbus, Ohio; her maternal grandparents, Dorothy Daniels and Garner Daniels, of London, Ohio; and her aunt, Carol Daniels, of Columbus, Ohio. She has many great aunts, uncles, and cousins living in Ohio, and Virginia, as well as the Paul Fisher family living in West Virginia.
She is survived by her brother, Scott A. LeMay; her mother and stepfather; Damon LeMay, her nephew in Florida; and Forrest LeMay, her nephew, his wife, Meredith, and their children (her nieces) Selene and Persepheny also in Florida.
Sherry excelled in sports from an early age. She had lots of friends and cared deeply for them. She was a very independent young lady who stood up for her friends when the need arose and continued to do so throughout her life.
Sherry worked for various homebuilders in the Washington, DC – Maryland Metropolitan area before moving to North Carolina. She gave to numerous charities monthly to help others even when she was pinching pennies. She loved animals and there was always one present in her life. She never wanted to watch a movie if it had a sad ending because she would cry.
Sherry was a bright light that burned out way too soon and will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, my child.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Twiford Colony Chapel with Chaplain Roy A. Riddick officiating.
