In loving memory of, May, Sharon Ann "Sherry" (nee Ernst), who peacefully departed from this life on May 6, 2025, at the age of 72, from the comfort of her home cared for by family. She was a bright light, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and a dear friend whose spirit will forever resonate with all who knew her.
Sherry was the beloved wife of "Robert 'RJ' Bob" May for 49 years. Together they built a nurturing home raising three children: Heather (Tara) May, Kyle (Nicole) May and Kara (Tommy) Scheidt. As a proud grandmother, she took immense joy in her role as Grandma to Dominic Gregg, Aiden Gregg, Aubrey May, Brody May, Savanna Scheidt, and Graham Scheidt. She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" and Rose Ernst, as well as a grandchild she now joins in Heaven. Sherry was the dear sister of Bob Ernst, Jeff (Sue) Ernst, and Barb (Larry) Savage. She was also the daughter-in-law of the late John and Trudy May. Sherry is also survived by her in-laws Ken (Cathy) May and Sharon (late David) Larson, her aunts Claire Giesken and Jean (Sonny) Robson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will forever hold her in their hearts.
Sherry never met a stranger and made everyone who crossed her path feel embraced and cared for. Her heartbeat was her children and grandchildren, and her passion was her work-always focused on others before herself. She worked at Proctor & Gamble for 23 years, she started her real estate career in 1994 at Star One Realtors and moved to RE/MAX in 2001, she was the President for Women's Council of Realtors Cincinnati Chapter for two years and retired in June 2024 after 30 years as a Realtor. Hosting family gatherings, spending quality time with friends, and giving her all to her clients is where you could expect her. She had a remarkable way of letting others feel safe, supported, and unconditionally loved when in her presence. She was someone who was always there when you needed her and you could so easily pick back up from where you left off. Sherry's dear and lasting relationships spread wide and deep; they are a true testament to who she was. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sherry's beautiful and precious life.
A visitation will be held at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd, Harrison, OH 45030, on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John the Baptist, 10010 Carolina Trace Rd., Harrison, OH 45030 on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00AM.
Celebration of Life to follow at Hearth Brewing, 1195 Stone Dr, Harrison, OH 45030 directly after the mass.

Memories of Sherry are always of her bright and smiling face, her warm and inclusive ways, and all that positive energy that she exuded. She was dearly missed and fondly remembered at our recent Seton Class of 70´s 55 th reunion. My heart goes out to Bob and family. There was nobody quite like Sherry.

Sherry was such a genuine person. She was a straight shooter, you always knew where you stood and what she thought. Finding someone who you can truly believe and trust is not always easy in life and you treasure those people when you find them. She had a great sense of humor and was a pleasure to have worked with for several years. Praying for her family. She will be sorely missed.

Sherry wasn't just my realtor. She's been by my side during my best & worst times. She was a true friend, and I considered her family! I never felt judged by Sherry. She'd say okay now what are you going to do to get past this! She truly had a spirit like no other, kind, compassionate, loving! She loved her family and loved to get together with ALL of them!! She taught me so many things but most of all (other than putting my sheets in one of the pillowcases so they would stay together-I needed that one!!) she taught me just because life shows up or people hurt you, don't change who you are as a person!! Stay true to you babes is what she would say!! I love you Sherry and I am forever grateful you were brought into my life, I wish I had met you sooner! Bob, Heather, Kyle, Kara, grandbabies and everyone else, my sincerest condolences, now she's hanging with Jesus and is in no pain
