Sherry L. Miracle, 54, of Hill Drive, Johnston, passed away on Friday, October 7th, surrounded by her beloved family. She was the wife of Scott E. Miracle to whom she was married for 19 years.

Sherry was born in Providence, the daughter of Richard Rochefort of North Smithfield and Kathleen Rochefort of Smithfield. She was also the stepdaughter of Janice Rochefort. She had lived in Johnston for 20 years previously living in Los Angeles, California.

Sherry had been an excellent surgical dental assistant for Dr. Steven Peiser of Providence for 35 plus years and she was loved and respected by both staff and patients. She was a talented actress and had performed at the Newport Playhouse. In addition, she acted in the pilot of the series "Providence". She loved to spend time with children and her pets. The latest was Scrappy, the dog she adored.

Sherry also leaves a brother Richard Rochefort, Jr. and his wife Jane and nieces Tara and Lauren. She had a stepsister Becky McKenna and her husband Matt. She also had two step-nieces Emma and Elizabeth.

Sherry will be remembered for her kindness, love of family and many positive attributes. She will be sorely missed.

Her funeral will be private. If desired donations in her memory may be made to the Small Dog Rescue of New England. www.smalldogrescuene.org

I met Sherry in New York in the late 90´s and then reconnected with her when I relocated to LA in 2000. I visited her a few times on Franklin Ave, but after that I lost touch with her and sadly never heard from her again. I would think of her every so often and this evening she popped up in my mind once again. I am so sorry to read about her passing.
Sherry was very pretty and was always sweet and kind. I always liked the way she would laugh. My condolences to her family.
