Sherry Lynn Cagle Moore
December 11, 1965 – January 8, 2025
Sherry Moore, age 59 was a lifelong resident of Waynesville, in Haywood County NC. She went to her home in heaven on January 8, 2025. Sherry was the daughter of Hattie Marie Curtis, her step father Doug Ramsey and the late James Dale Cagle Sr. She is also preceded in death by her brother Dale Cagle Jr.
Sherry loved her family and her Lord she was a member of Old Pathways Baptist Church. She loved taking care of all children, especially her nieces and nephews. Sherry enjoyed going to the beach and to Lake Douglas. Sherry loved going out to eat with friends. Sherry was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved taking care of people. She was one of the most loving and caring person that you would ever meet. Sherry had three great loves, her husband Billy and their fur babies Marshall and Joey. One special memory is she would light up a room with that beautiful smile! She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed!
Left to cherish Sherry's memories in addition to her mother and her dad are her loving husband of 44 years Billy Moore. Her siblings Terisa Jones (Jason), Marlene Ledford (Gary), Gary Ramsey, Terry Ramsey and Chris Ramsey (Christina). Several cousins' nieces and nephews along with numerous family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday January 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Old Pathways Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service. The Rev. Phillip Wyatt, Rev. Kenneth Rhinehart and Rev. Steve Rhinehart will officiate. Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
