Sherry Jeanette Perkins Leach
Sherry was born August 21, 1969, at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs, Ar. She passed from this life Sunday January 12th at the Stilwell Memorial Hospital in Stilwell, Ok at 55 years of age.
Sherry was the daughter of Mary Adams of Siloam Springs and Lester and Ellen Perkins of Watts, Ok. Sherry was survived by her daughter Angela Perkins of the home in Westville, Son Harley Perkins of Siloam Springs, Brother Ray and wife Cheryl of Siloam Springs, Sister Staci Perkins of Siloam Springs, and her step siblings Mike and Letiecia Iiams of Marana, Az, David and Bari Iiams of Austin, Tx, Mark and Margaret Iiams of Colcord, Ok, Kim and Kurt Semroska of Utah, Teri Attaway and Mike Uselman of Siloam Springs, and Jennifer Iiams of Austin, Tx, multitudes of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and many, many loving friends.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father Lester Perkins and maternal grandparents Cecil and Clarice Gerber Collins, and paternal grandparents Benjamin and Lora Faye Butler Perkins and Jack Williams.
Sherry most recently was a team leader at Gates Rubber Co where she has spent the last 11 years, prior to that she was at Baldor Motors for 20 years. Sherry was a graduate of Westville High School, Class of ’87.
Sherry fiercely loved her family and friends and was always up for a ride down the road for adventuring on her bike when she felt good.
Sherry’s celebration of life will be hosted January 18 at 3pm at the Backstom Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
