Sherry Harrington Stringfellow, aka Ladybug age 79 of Kearns Utah peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on April 11, 2025. Sherry was born on May 24, 1945, to Orville Harrington and Mary Ellen Dodge.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, James Randolph Stringfellow, her father Orville, mother Mary Ellen, her brother Leslie Harrington, and her daughter Lisa Anne Adolphson.
She is survived by her beloved children Robert L. (Tami) Adolphson, Angela Clock, Michelle Yazzie, David (Kelly) Adolphson, and Amy Stringfellow. She leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Despite only completing the 7th grade, Sherry was incredibly intelligent and driven. A self-taught woman, she had a thirst for knowledge and a gift for teaching others. She was a master of budgeting and saving, and she lived her life with remarkable discipline and wisdom.
Sherry had a deep love for the outdoors—camping, fishing, and traveling to many places with her dear Jim. She also had a passion for handcrafts, especially crocheting, knitting, and sewing.
She loved game nights with her family, evenings filled with laughter and connection will be treasured by all who joined her at the table. Her faith was central to her life. A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She left this earth knowing she was loved and is now joyfully reunited with her eternal companion.
Her legacy of strength, faith, and love will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary; 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. You may visit with the family Thursday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; 6567 South Wakefield Way 6035 West, West Valley City, Utah and one hour prior to services at the Mortuary. Interment; Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
