Sheryl Denise (Larsen) Holle, age 56, passed away on May 17, 2025 surrounded by her children and family.
Sheryl was born August 6, 1968 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was adopted by her loving parents Gary and Janet (Garrard) Larsen at nine days old. Sheryl grew up in Johnston, Iowa, attending Johnston schools and graduating in 1986. She attended Mid-America Nazarene College for two years.
On January 5, 1991, Sheryl married Kevin Holle. They lived in Clarksville, TN and Monett, MO until they settled in the Springfield, MO area in 1996. On top of being a mom to six different children, she managed to own and operate her own business, Once and Again, for several years and graduated with her Bachelors degree from Evangel in 2014. She traveled to several different continents over the years and passed that love of travel to her kids. She attended and served at Northside Christian Church in Springfield for 29 years. She cared deeply for orphans and children all over the world, and spent time advocating for and giving generously to organizations who care for them. God's global mission was important to Sheryl and she loved supporting workers around the world. Her kindness and generosity were inspired by her faith in Jesus, who she loved and trusted in through many of life's ups and downs. Sheryl's greatest joys were being a mother to her children and Mimi to her grandchildren.
Sheryl is survived by: her husband Kevin Holle, her children; Grant Holle and wife Anna, Garrett Holle, Gavin Holle and wife Miranda, Greg Holle and wife Taylor, Galia Holle and Graycen Holle, all of the Springfield area. Grandchildren; Bennett Holle, Easton Holle, Marcus Holle, Muso Holle, Kylan Holle, Avery Holle, Aiden Holle and a grandchild due in June. Her mother Janet Larsen, brother Kevin Larsen both of Springfield and father-in-law Eldred Holle of Monett. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Sheryl was preceded in death by her father Gary Larsen, her mother-in-law Margaret Holle and sister-in-law Annette Holle.
Services will be held at Northside Christian Church on Thursday, May 22. Visitation will be at 12:30-2:00 PM with the service starting at 2:00 PM. A burial for the family and close friends will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations can be made to Love Without Boundaries China Unity Initiative or Blackbox International Haiti Building Fund.

My beautiful friend Sheryl, you were taken too soon. We had so much fun being Co-Editors of our yearbook in Senior Year. May you rest in peace. Sending love from Edmonton Alberta Canada
