I am so crushed to hear about Sheryll's passing. I am just finding out through a CDC post. Sheryll and I met several years ago as colleagues at CDC and almost immediately became friends. That friendship grew and so did her career. I remember encouraging her to apply for the PHA position and I supported her in every way I could. She was so well liked and so well respected and just a fantastic person. We loved to joke and carry on when we could. I remember how much she loved her granddaughter, and she told me she was looking for a bed for her. I found one at a consignment shop and bought it for her and she loved it. Her and her son came to my house to pick it up. She sent me pictures of how she dressed it up afterwards. I am so sorry I did not know that she had been sick or that she had passed. I would truly miss her. Much love to the family and especially to the grandkids who will hopefully know how much they were loved by this incredible woman! Rest In Peace sweet Sheryll!
