Shirley Ann Avalos
Shirley Ann Avalos passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on June 12, 2025, in Roswell, NM. Shirley was born on October 8, 1960, to Tomas and Loyola Sanchez in Ruidoso, NM.
Shirley was the most charismatic and motivated mother there ever was. She was very hard-working and took care of her 4 children after their father passed away. Shirley always had her doors open to her children and will always be remembered for her exceptional ability to cook.
Shirley was preceded in death with her first-born son, Joe Ray; her husband, Ramond M. Avalos; Her parents, and the majority of her brothers and sisters.
Shirley is also preceded in death by her beloved dog, companion, and fur baby, Maylee.
Shirley will be remembered by her husband, Andrew Sigala of Roswell, NM; Son, Raymond M. Avalos Jr. of Roswell, NM; Daughters, Tommi Lynn Avalos and Natalie Ilene Avalos, both of Roswell, NM; Granddaughter, Paris Montanez- Avalos; Sister, Irene Vela of Alto, NM; as well as 2 great-grandchildren.
A final farewell for Shirley will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 2:00pm-3:00pm, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
