Shirley Ann Keener Long Baker entered into rest at home on July 20, 2025.

Shirley was born in Red Lion on May 4, 1943 to the late George Keener and Mary Matthew Keener. She was one of five children, survived by her sister, Arlene Keener Riedel.

Also surviving are Shirley's children and grandchildren: Debbie Long Smith along with her three children and four grandchildren, Allen Long Severson and wife Anna, Peggy Long along with her three children and twelve grandchildren, Kimberly Long along with her four children and thirteen grandchildren, and Sherrie Baker along with her three children and three grandchildren.

Dayne Taylor took care of Shirley since 2010.

Shirley worked as a nurse's aide at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in York for 25 years.

Shirley's spirit moved on to be with God and her family and friends above.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, July 25, 2025 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., West York, is assisting with arrangements.
