To the family of Shirley Boldin ~
I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know her well, but I knew she was a lovely person. I am a care provider for the developmentally disabled. In this capacity, I had come across Shirley over the years. She took a special interest in one of my clients. And from what I knew of Shirley, I'm sure many others were treated (and felt) just as special. So, thank you Shirley, for the lives you affected so positively. A debt that cannot be repaid, but a promise to pay it forward. In your honor!

Family, I'm heartbroken. Shirley was pure love, if you knew her you knew that. It's a safe bet, You wouldn't bet against it.
I was blessed to meet Shirley back in the middle 80's through our mutual friend Kay they worked together at the county and as peoples lives take different paths, Kay and I reconnected w/Shirley several years back. I enjoyed our times, laughs and analyzing the important tasks at hand along when she would bring portables for snacks. She loved her family I love reading all the wonderful things from coworkers/friends and loved ones.
Shirley, She was one in a million.
She never begrudged a child love. <3 anyone's child.

I will never forget our years of travel together. You taught me so much when I was just learning how to be an adult. You never judged me and gave me space to be myself. I will continue to always be adventurous and try new things without fear. I will do better about keeping those genuine people closer in my life and I'll never stop missing your advice and friendship.

Dear Bill, Bob and family -- I am so sorry to hear about your mom, grandmother and sister. She was a former co-worker when we were in our late teens and became one of my best friends. Shirl was a loving, proud mom and grandmother and always talked about her family. We met last Summer for dinner in Brecksville and I was looking forward to seeing her new home. Rest in peace my dear friend.
