Holley/Albion: Shirley Anne Christopher, age 72, passed away July 7, 2024. She was born January 22, 1952 in Brockport to the late Tilly and Estelle (Passarell) Brunette.
Shirley worked for many years as a Teachers’ Aide for the Holley Central School District - a job that she truly enjoyed doing. Most of her time was spent around her home gardening, cooking, tending to her chickens and cuddling up with her dogs. Shirley was well known for her “Wedding Soup” that she made every year for Christmas dinner. Everything she made was from scratch and made with love.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 44.5 years, Anthony; children Tamera (Erik) Bolthouse, Aaron Christopher, Beth Roselli; grandchildren Mattie (Konner) Narowski, Jehan Bolthouse, Summer, Isabella, and Oakland Roselli; siblings Karen (Robert Christopher) Lingle, Jeanne (Walter) Martillotta, Christine (late David) Karr, Mary Beth Anderson, Daniel (Laurie) Emanuele, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Shirley’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 16650 State Route 31 Holley, NY 14470 on Thursday, July 11th from 4:00-7:00pm where her funeral service will be held at 7:00pm. Interment will be held privately at Mt. Albion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shirley’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
