Mrs. Shirley Clark 84, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday August 22, 2025, at her residence with her family by her side. Mrs. Clark was a loving wife (and caregiver to her husband), mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a member of Fairlane Church of Christ. She loved square dancing, yard sales, Goodwill, clocks and outfits. She was proud of her Cherokee heritage. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Clark; mother Mary Mooningham Posey; sister, Clara Mai Overcast; son-n-law, Jason Lynch and grandchild, Cody Clark Lynch.
She is survived by her, two sons, Jerry Clark and Randall Clark (Rachel); daughter, Teresa Lynch; sisters, Bobbie Comstock, Brenda Lambert (Don) and Vicky Crews (Doug); grandchildren, Sheena Landreth (Ben), Brandi Clark, James Clark, Shanda Overcast, Wesley Clark, Timothy Lynch, Chad Lynch and Jadon Lynch; great grandchildren, Talia Kelley, J.D. Armstrong and Malachi Clark; great great grandchildren, Keedrun Kelley and Aries Kelley and numerous other family members.
The Graveside Service will be on Tuesday August 26,2025 at 2:00pm at Cothran Cemetery. Gowen-Smith Chapel in Shelbyville, Tennessee will be in charge of service.
