Shirley Ann Cottenham

Maysville- Shirley Ann Cottenham, 78, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born October 16, 1944 in Tacoma, WA a daughter of the late Elmer Monroe and Myrtle Viola Thompson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Moose Lodge.
Shirley was a cook in the restaurant business and a private home health provider. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and also an active member of the Swansboro Moose Lodge 1425/WOTM 1323.
She is survived by daughters, Donna (Carl) Steele of Idaho, Christene (Brook) Kelsey of Hubert, Diane (Steve) Craudell of Idaho, Cindy (Tim) McCarthy of WA, Connie (Larry) Wilmes of MO, and Jai (Ryan) Vonk of the home; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; and a sister, Sue Anderson of SC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Cottenham; son, Harold Cottenham; brothers, Frank, Jimmy, Cleo, Eddie, and Floyd Thompson; one grandchild and four great grandchildren.
