Shirley Evans Obituary
Shirley is survived by her son James Edward Evans; grandchildren, Emily Evans Jenkins (Brad), Isaac Evans, Jerry Manning, Gerri "Shug" Delph (Chad), Caroline Delph, Emmie New, Elijah New, Miley Jenkins, Bella Evans, Kai Beasley, and Trent Evans all who were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, James Alonza Evans; siblings, Dalton "Dick" Smith, Estelle Manning, and Lucille Nobles.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 PM in Wilkerson Funeral Home-Vanceboro. The family will hold a private graveside service.
