Shirley Franks was born on August 1, 1940 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Johnny and Myrtle White Morris.
She was united in marriage to Keeton Franks, who survives.
When she was able, Shirley enjoyed being outdoors and working in her yard. She loved tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. Mrs. Franks was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ in Savannah, Tennessee.
Shirley Franks departed this life on Thursday, January 23, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 84 years, 5 months, and 22 days.
She is survived by her husband, Keeton Franks of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Brad Franks (Sherry) of Jackson, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lance Thomas Franks, Gavin Morris Franks, and Jace Boyd Franks; brother, Ralph Morris of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Tera Daniels of Wayne County, Tennessee, Kathy McFalls of Selmer, Tennessee, and Mackie Fielder of Central, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by brother, Johnny Morris and sister, Barbara White.
